Stupas by architectonical means symbolize Buddhas teachings and invite believers to pray. To do that one has to circle the building clockwise and barefoot. This is supposed to symbolize the blessing path of the sun.
Stupas symbolisieren auf architektonische Weise Buddhas Lehre und fordern Gläubige zur Andacht auf. Dazu umrundet man das Gebäude barfuß im Uhrzeigersinn. Dies soll den segensbringenden Lauf der Sonne symbolisieren.
