At the south side of the far stretched park the small Chinese pavilion is located, a birthday present from King Adolf Frederick to his German wife. It is regarded as a masterpiece of Rococo with Chinese influences and was essential for the entire complex of Drottningholm palace to be the first Swedish site to be admitted to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Im Süden der weitläufigen Parkanlage versteckt sich das kleine Chinaschloss, ein Geburtstagsgeschenk von König Adolf Frederick an seine deutsche Frau. Es gilt als Meisterwerk des Rokoko mit chinesischem Einschlag und trug wesentlich dazu bei, dass die gesamte Schlossanlage von Drottningholm als erstes schwedisches Bauwerk in die UNESCO-Welterbeliste aufgenommen wurde.
