Past the palace theatre with its original stage mechanics – still working after 250 years – one reaches the baroque palace complex, which was officially opened in 1701 as a château de plaisance.
Vorbei am Schlosstheater, dessen Original-Bühnentechnik seit nunmehr 250 Jahren anstandslos funktioniert, gelangt man zur barocken Palastanlage, die 1701 als Lustschloss eingeweiht wurde. Erst seit 1982 dient das „Versailles des Nordens“ als königlicher Wohnsitz.
