From the old historical buildings on Kop van Zuid only the 'Hotel New York', the former headquarters of the Holland-America Lijn, survived between the skyscrapers. Situated directly on the Nieuwe Maas, the building is a prestigious object in the city's renewal program and is protected as a national heritage site of the Netherlands.
Von den alten historisches Gebäude auf Kop van Zuid blieb zwischen den Wolkenkratzern nur das 'Hotel New York' erhalten, das ehemalige Hauptquartier der Holland-America Lijn. Direkt an der Nieuwe Maas gelegen, ist das Haus ein Prestigeobjekt im Stadterneuerungsprogramm und steht als Rijksmonument unter Denkmalschutz.
