In the harbour basin Malta's famous boats, the Luzzus, bob up and down. Their high bow, it is said, goes back to the form of the Phoenician merchant ships of the eighth century BC.
Im Hafenbecken dümpeln Maltas berühmte Luzzu-Boote. Der hohe Bug, so sagt man, gehe auf die Form der phönikischen Handelsschiffe des 8. vorchristlichen Jahrhunderts zurück.
