Dwejra Bay - Inland Sea#

Shortly before reaching the west coast one suddenly stands in front of a circular lake. Inland Sea this whim of nature is called. It was created by the collapse of a karst cave, which is still connected with the nearby sea by a tunnel.
Kurz vor Erreichen der Westküste steht man plötzlich vor einem kreisrunden See. Inland Sea heißt diese Laune der Natur. Entstanden ist sie durch den Einsturz einer Karsthöhle, die immer noch mittels Tunnel mit den nahen Meer verbunden ist.
