Schmale, frisch restaurierte Gassen führen durch die Altstadt, errichtet aus dem sogenannten Kilkenny Marble. Tatsächlich handelt es sich jedoch nicht um Marmor, sondern um dunklen Kalkstein aus der Umgebung.
Narrow, recently restored streets lead through the Old Town, made of the so called Kilkenny Marble. It actually isn´t marble, it is dark limestone from the sourrounding area.
