In early times, the oracle was held only once a year, then once a month, and finally - due to the large crowds - daily except for a break of 3 months in winter. At times, three women were working at the same time as Pythia.

In Frühzeiten tagte das Orakel nur einmal jährlich, dann einmal monatlich und schließlich aufgrund des großen Andrangs täglich bis auf eine Pause von 3 Monaten im Winter. Zeitweise arbeiteten drei Frauen gleichzeitig als Pythia.
