Nyhavn#

From Copenhagen's main square, it is only a few steps to the most atmospheric part of city. Nyhavn, translated as 'new harbour' attracts with a variety of homely restaurants along a canal. In the 17th century it was commissioned by King Christian V to bring the merchants into the centre of the city. Today, it is a true magnet for visitors and there is probably no better place in Copenhagen to let a trip to Denmark's charming capital end leisurely.
Von Kopenhagens Hauptplatz sind es nur wenige Schritte zum stimmungsvollsten Viertel der Stadt. Nyhavn, übersetzt „Neuer Hafen“ lockt mit einer Vielzahl an gemütlichen Restaurants entlang eines Stichkanals. Er wurde im 17. Jahrhundert von König Christian dem V in Auftrag gegeben, um die Händler ins Zentrum der Stadt zu locken. Heute erweist er sich als wahrer Besuchermagnet und es gibt in Kopenhagen wohl keinen schöneren Ort, um eine Reise in Dänemarks charmante Hauptstadt geruhsam ausklingen zu lassen.
