On the other side of the inner harbour sprawl the districts of Christianshavn and Holmen. A few hectares of them belong to the 'Freetown Christiana'. Not far away from there, the new opera building creates a contrast to the otherwise alternative-rural atmosphere hardly to be topped.
Jenseits des Inneren Hafens breiten sich die Stadtviertel Christianshavn und Holmen aus. Ein paar Hektar davon gehören dem „Freistaat Christiana“. Nicht weit entfernt bildet die neue Oper einen kaum zu überbietenden Kontrast zur ansonsten alternativ-dörflichen Atmosphäre.
