Above the iconostasis the dome symbolizes the heavenly spheres. There, Christ is enthroned as Pantocrator, as a ruler of the world, surrounded by the highest ranking angels and the prophets.
Über der Ikonostase symbolisiert die Kuppel die himmlische Sphäre. Dort thront Christus als Pantokrator, als Weltenherrscher, umgeben von der obersten Engelhierarchie und den Propheten.
