One of the most elaborate tombs belongs to field commander named Alcetas. He was a general of Alexander's Guard, but had to flee from his pursuers to Termessos after the latter's death. For fear of causing a war the town did not give shelter to him. When Alcetas heard this, he turned his sword upon himself. Perhaps to wipe out the disgrace, an elaborate tomb was erected in his honour.
Eine der aufwändigsten Grabanlagen gehört dem Feldherren Alketas. Er war Offizier aus Alexanders Garde, musste jedoch nach dessen Tod vor seinen Verfolgern nach Termessos fliehen. Aus Angst, einen Krieg auszulösen, gewährte man ihm dort jedoch keinen Unterschlupf. Als Alketas davon erfuhr, stürzte er sich in sein Schwert. Vielleicht um die Schande zu tilgen, wurde ihm ein aufwändiges Grab errichtet.
