Even today, Termessos can not be reached by car. The road ends at the entrance to the lower part of the town, where a temple dedicated to the Roman emperor Hadrian greets the visitors. From there, narrow footpaths meander to the actual city.
Selbst heute ist Termessos nicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Strasse endet am Eingang zur Unterstadt, wo ein dem römischen Kaiser Hadrian geweihter Tempel die Besucher begrüßt. Von dort schlängeln sich schmale Fußpfade zur eigentlichen Stadt.
