Auf einem schroffen Granitfelsen erhebt sich der verlassene Königspalast über die Altstadt von Leh. Noch ein wenig höher thront das Namgyal Tsemo Kloster unterhalb der Ruine der ersten Königsresidenz aus dem Jahr 1520.
On a rugged granite cliff the deserted royal palace rises above the old town of Leh. A little higher, the Namgyal Tsemo Monastery towers beneath the ruin of the first royal residence from 1520.
