The Hunter Museum of American Art shows collections of American impressionism, early modernism, regionalism and post World War II modern and contemporary art.
The original museum, built as a classical revival mansion in 1904, was enlarged in 1975 and another expansion in 2005 now serves as the entrance to the museum.
