Awash National Park#

Awash is situated on the edge of the national park of the same name, once a favourite hunting ground for Emperor Haile Selassie. Apart from a rich birdlife, there is hardly any African wild animal to be discovered, except for some Oryxes.
Awash liegt am Rande des gleichnamigen Nationalparks, einst bevorzugtes Jagdgebiet für Kaiser Haile Selassie. Neben einer reichen Vogelwelt gibt es kaum noch afrikanisches Wild zu entdecken mit Ausnahme einiger Oryx-Antilopen.
