During the 2nd World War the White Madonna fell on the detonator of an explosive device and thus has prevented major destructions of the Cathedral.
Die „Weisse Madonna“ ist im 2. Weltkrieg auf den Zünder eines Sprengkörpers gefallen und hat dadurch eine größere Zerstörung des Doms verhindert.
