In the cathedral finest alabaster coats the remains of King Carlos the III and his wife. The monarch initiated the construction of this huge Gothic church in the 14th century. However, 200 years passed until its completion. Above the main altar a statue of Mary is enthroned, under whose watchful eyes the kings of Navarre were crowned.

In der Kathedrale von Pamplona umhüllt feinster Alabaster die sterblichen Überreste von König Carlos dem III und seiner Gemahlin. Der Monarch hatte den Bau der riesigen gotischen Kirche im 14. Jahrhundert initiiert. Bis zur Fertigstellung vergingen jedoch gut 200 Jahre. Über dem Hauptaltar thront eine Marienstatue, unter deren wachsamen Augen die Könige von Navarra gekrönt wurden.
