For today's visitors, the ghost town exudes a unique atmosphere. No other place in the Extremadura is at the same time so colourful and so melancholic. Many alleys have overgrown and just around the corner there are suddenly lovely houses the owners seem to have left just this minute.
Für heutige Besucher verströmt die Geisterstadt eine eigenwillige Atmosphäre. Kein anderer Ort der Extremadura wirkt gleichzeitig so bunt und so melancholisch. Viele Gassen sind verwildert und gleich um die Ecke stehen plötzlich anmutige Häuschen, von denen man glaubt, die Besitzer hätten sie gerade erst verlassen.
