. Only the narrow streets are reminiscent of the fact that Sitges was once a sleepy fishing village. As long ago as at the end of the 19th century, the city became a place to be for the avant-garde and has since always been 'in vogue'. Recently, a lively gay scene provides fancy accents.

besonders wohl. Nur mehr die engen Gassen erinnern daran, dass Sitges einstmals ein verschlafenes Fischerdorf war. Doch bereits Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde die Stadt zum Treffpunkt der Avantgarde und ist seither immer 'in' gewesen. Jüngst sorgt eine lebhafte Gay-Szene für schrille Akzente.
