The Guadalquivir is some 650 km longs, hence the fifth longest river of Spain after Tajo, Ebro, Duero and Guadiana. It is the longest in Andalusia. The source of the river is in the Sierra de Cazorla, touches Córdoba and Seville and empties into the gulf of Cádiz. The Guadalquivir is the only river in Spain navigable by big boats; oceangoing vessels can make it to Seville.
Der Guadalquivir ist mit einer Länge von über 650 km der fünftlängste Fluss Spaniens (nach Tajo, Ebro, Duero und Guadiana) und der längste in Andalusien. Der Fluss entspringt in der Sierra de Cazorla, läuft an Córdoba und Sevilla vorbei und mündet in den Golf von Cádiz. Der Guadalquivir ist der einzige schiffbare Fluss Spaniens: er ist bis Sevilla auch für Hochseeschiffe schiffbar.
