First a small chapel on the site of the grave of Saint Servatius, built after his death in 384 AD., the church is mainly Romanesque and was extended in the 11th, 13th and 15th century.
Zuerst als kleine Kapelle auf dem Gelände des Grabes des heiligen Servatius nach seinem Tod im Jahre 384 n. Chr. erbaut, ist die Kirche vor allem romanisch und wurde im 11., 13. und 15. Jahrhundert erweitert.
