The heart of the citadel beats in the Cathedral of the Assumption, built in the beginning of the 18th century on the foundations of a Roman temple. For some time, Gozo was episcopal see.
Das Herz der Zitadelle schlägt in der Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts auf den Fundamenten eines römischen Tempels errichteten Marien-Kathedrale. Für einige Zeit war Gozo Bischofssitz.
