Grand Harbour#

The Grand Harbour grand harbour, Malta , also known as the Port of Valletta, is a very old, natural harbour. Over the course of time it was greatly altered, by the edifying of extensive docks and wharves, but also by massive fortifications. Vittoriosa, also called Birgu, is situated on the south side of the harbour and belongs to the so called "Three Cities".
