On Holy Thursday the believers meet after sunset in Siġġiewi for a procession with torches. From the church of San Nicholas on, thousands of torches illuminate the pilgrims' path to the La Ferla Cross, 219 m above sea level. The ambiance is quiet, serious and full of atmosphere.
Bereits am Gründonnerstag trifft man sich in Siggiewi nach Sonnenuntergang zur Fackelprozession. Von der Kirche San Nikola startend, beleuchten abertausende von Fackeln den Pilgerweg zum 219 m hoch gelegenen Laferla-Kreuz. Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig, ernst und stimmungsvoll.
