Insbesondere die Anfang des 14. Jahrhunderts errichtete Kathedrale wurde zum Symbol des Sieges über den Islam. Sie gehört zu den wenigen gotischen Bauten Süditaliens.
Especially the Cathedral, built at the beginning of the 14th century, became the symbol of victory over Islam. It is one of the few Gothic buildings in southern Italy.
