Durch ein pompöses Eingangsportal gelangt der Pilger zu 89 Stufen, die in die Unterwelt der Grotte führen. Inschriften bestätigen, dass hier alle Sünden der Menschen automatisch vergeben werden.
Through a pompous entrance portal, the pilgrim arrives at 89 steps leading into the underworld of the grotto. Inscriptions confirm that all human sins are automatically forgiven here.
