Auf der linken Seite öffnet sich unvermutet ein 23 m hoher Kuppelraum, der als Grab des Langobardenkönigs Rothari bekannt ist. Wahrscheinlich handelt es sich jedoch um das Baptisterium des Kirchenkomplexes, in dem einst die Ganzkörpertaufe praktiziert wurde.
Unexpectedly, a 23 m high dome opens to the left, which is known as the tomb of the Lombard King Rothari. However, it is probably the baptistery of the church complex in which once the full-body baptism was practiced.
