Am Ende des Herstellungsprozesses erfolgt eine dreistufige Destillation. Sie trennt den Alkohol sowie die Geruchs- und Geschmackstoffe vom Wasser und konzentriert sie. Die historischen Brennkessel, die ein Volumen von bis zu 100.000 Liter fassen, fristen ein beschauliches Dasein im Museum. Heute wird die Arbeit von modernen Destillierkolonnen erledigt.
At the end of the manufacturing process, a three-stage distillation takes place. It separates the alcohol and the odors and flavors from the water and concentrates them. The historic boilers, which hold a volume of up to 100,000 liters, are now in the museum. Today, the work is done by modern distillation towers.
