The whale museum of Húsavik provides a successful introduction to the way of living of the giant mammals. About 20 whale species are swimming in the fishful waters off Iceland's coasts, from the small dolphin to the 200 t blue whale. Only the tongue of the blue whale weighs more than 6000 kg. Its aorta is so large that a man could swim through it.
