In der Weinkellerei des Winzers Georgios Koutsoyannopoulus sieht man noch alte Weinpressen und Destillationsgeräte für Tresterschnaps. Dieses sogenannte 'Arme-Leute-Gesöff' wird aus den vergorenen Rückständen der Weinmaische erzeugt. Inzwischen mauserte sich das Getränk unter der griechischen Bezeichnung 'Tsipouro' oder bei uns besser bekannt als 'Grappa' zur respektablen Spirituose.
In the winery Georgios Koutsoyannopoulus you can still see old wine presses and distillers for pomace brandy. This so-called 'poor people's swill' is produced from the fermented residues of the wine mash. Meanwhile, the drink under the Greek name 'Tsipouro' or better known as 'Grappa' became a respectable spirit.
