Mediterranean cuisine without olive oil is not imaginable. Since ancient times it is said to be a universal remedy. Democritus' advice on a healthy life was plain and simple: „honey inside, olive oil outside“.
Das Olivenöl ist aus der Mittelmeerküche nicht wegzudenken. Schon seit der Antike gilt es als Allheilmittel. So lautete Demokrits Rat für ein gesundes Leben schlicht und einfach: „innen Honig, außen Olivenöl“.
