Wie ein Amphitheater schmiegt sich das Bergdorf Filoti an die Hänge des 1000 m hohen Zeus-Gebirges. Bei der Weiterfahrt Richtung Süden betritt man den einsamsten Teil der Insel. Ein paar kleine Kapellen und neugierige Ziegen inmitten gelb leuchtender Ginsterfelder bilden die einzige Abwechslung.
The mountain village Filoti is located on the slopes of the 1000 m high Zeus mountain range. On the way south, you enter the loneliest part of the island. A few small chapels and curious goats in the midst of yellow glowing gorse fields form the only variety.
