Aus jener Zeit stammen auch viele Kirchen- und Klosterbauten, die oftmals nur über holprige Feldwege zu erreichen sind. So fristet auch die einstmalige katholische Bischofskirche Agios Mamas ein kärgliches Dasein inmitten eines weitläufigen Ackers.

Many church and monastery buildings date back to that time. They are often only accessible via bumpy country lanes. Thus, also the former Catholic bishop's church of Agios Mamas is located amidst a vast field.
