Even though Delphi became more important as an oracle than Dodona soon, the sanctuary remained an important place to go for those seeking advice. Around 300 BC the construction of a palast complex and a theater were undertaken. With 20.000 seats this theater belonged to the biggest ones in Greece.
Auch wenn Delphi Dodona bald den Rang als bedeutendste Orakelstätte ablief, blieb das Heiligtum eine wichtige Adresse für Ratsuchende. Um 300 v.d.Z. begann man mit dem Bau von Palastanlagen und eines Theaters. Mit 20.000 Zuschauerplätzen gehört es zu den größten Griechenlands.
