Husum Husum , the 'gray city by the sea' in a poem by Theodor Storm, offers berths for sports boats in his inland harbour as well as for tall ships and museum ships, the outer basin serves as 'headquarter' for a small crab-boat fleet. The main attractions of the city include the Theordor-Storm-House - a literary museum for the poet, who lived here from 1866 to 1880, the North Sea Museum with finds from the tideland, a shipping museum with ship models from the Middle Ages to the present, which gives a good insight into the life with and on the sea, and much more.
