Checkpoint Charlie#

Checkpoint Charlie Checkpoint Charlie, Friedrichstraße, Berlin, Deutschland is the best known former Berlin Wall crossing point between West Berlin and East Berlin during the cold War. In 1961 during the Berlin Crisis Soviet and American tanks faces each other across the border at that site. Nowadays Checkpoint Charlie is a tourist attraction and a symbol representing the separation of East and West and the Cold War.
