Gloomy and dark - like a fierce block of granite the port town of St. Malo crouches on a rocky island, flanked by the medieval town of Dinan and the high-society seaside resort of Dinard Dinard, France . A respectable marina and about 400 mansions and Belle Epoque villas recall that Dinard is among the preferred holiday destinations of rich Englishmen and Americans since 1850 such as Agatha Christie, Pablo Picasso, Jules Verne and Winston Churchill. Even today, it is quite possible to encounter many a Hollywood star 'incognito' here.

Grau und finster – wie ein unerschütterlicher Granitblock kauert die Hafenstadt St. Malo auf einer Felseninsel, flankiert von dem mittelalterlichen Städtchen Dinan und dem High-Society-Badedomizil Dinard Dinard, France . Ein respektabler Jachthafen und über 400 Herrenhäuser und Belle Epoche-Villen erinnern daran, dass Dinard seit 1850 zum bevorzugten Urlaubsziel reicher Engländer und Amerikaner gehört. Dazu gesellten sich klingende Namen wie Agatha Christie, Pablo Picasso, Jules Verne und Winston Churchill. Noch heute könnte es durchaus möglich sein, dass man hier so mancher Hollywoodgröße 'inkognito' begegnet.
