The administration of the monastery was in the hands of specially trained monks who were partially freed from the liturgical duties. Unlike the religious rituals they stretched the personal hygiene. They took a bath only twice a year, once before Christmas and again before Easter. Consequently, a companioned frater could probably be recognized with one's eyes closed.
Die Verwaltung des Klosters lag in den Händen speziell ausgebildeter Mönche, die von den liturgischen Pflichten teilweise befreit waren. Im Gegensatz zu den heiligen Ritualen nahm man die Hygiene nicht ganz so genau. Gebadet wurde zweimal pro Jahr, einmal vor Weihnachten und einmal vor Ostern. Damit erkannte man den befreundeten Bruder wohl schon blind.
