Mansion of Clos Luce#

The mansion of Clos Luce in Amboise is connected to the nearby royal Chateau by an underground passageway. It served as the residence of Leonardo da Vinci for the last three years of his life (1516-1519).
The mansion currently is the museum for the surrounding region and displays 40 models of machines developed by Leonardo.
