The Chateau d'Usse Château Ussé, Rigny-Ussé, Frankreich was rebuilt in the 15th century on a stronghold site dating back to the 11th century. By tradition, this is the castle Charles Perrault had in mind when he wrote the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale.
