Vor den Palastmauern wartet ein viel jüngeres Denkmal auf Glücksritter. Bischof Gregor von Nin war im 9. Jahrhundert nicht nur oberster Kirchenvertreter, sondern auch Kanzler, d.h. Leiter der Urkundenbehörde im ersten kroatischen Königreich unter Tomislav. Doch viel wichtiger: Wer den Zeh des Kirchenvaters berührt, dem winkt – so weiß man mit Bestimmtheit - lebenslanges Glück und Gesundheit.
In front of the palace walls, a much younger monument awaits lucky knights. Bishop Gregory of Nin was not only the highest church representative in the 9th century, but also chancellor. That means he was head of the document authority in the first Croatian kingdom under Tomislav. But much more important: for who touches the toe of the church father, beckons - so you know with certainty - lifelong happiness and health.
