Das Seetor führte direkt von einer Mole, an der Versorgungsschiffe anlegten, in das Untergeschoss des Palastes. Ein Stockwerk höher gelangt man zum Vestibül, der repräsentativen Eingangshalle zum Palast.
The sea gate led directly from a jetty, an anchorage for supply vessels, into the basement of the palace. A storey higher you get to the antechamber, the representative foyer of the palace.
