Like a letter, a stone monument towers in the sky. It indeed is the first letter of the Glagolitic alphabet, the oldest Slavic script, conceived by a missionary in the 9th century. This oversized A leads into the valley of Baška

. At the end of that valley is one of the most beautiful bays in Croatia.
