Taranaki- The isolated volcanoe of New Zealand#

Mount Taranaki (2518 m) or Mount Egmont Mount Egmont, NZ on the Northern Island of New Zealand has the shape of a perfect volcanoe. It is part of a nature reserve and not very hard to climb: Just the last 100 m or so are a bit technical, but hooks and ropes attached to them help.
