The Fergana Valley is located in Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan and continues to the east of Uzbekistan Uzbekistan . The landscape has a truly fabulous reputation. It offers grain and fruit in abundance and the pheasants are said to be so fat that four people can not manage to eat one single bird. This may be true, but as a visitor one is disappointed by the view. Looking for a real valley is in vain, because in truth, the area is a fertile plain of 80,000 km², which is almost entirely used as an agricultural and industrial area. Even oil is flowed here. Accordingly, the Fergana Valley is densely populated. The capital city of Kokand Kyrgyzstan, Kokand alone has more than 200,000 inhabitants.
