Since 1820 the center of the historic city is formed by the Al Hisn Fort, the fortified living area of the former ruler of Sharjah. Not far from it a reconstructed merchant house is telling of the life of the former upper class.
Das Zentrum der Altstadt bildet seit 1820 das Al Hisn Fort, der befestigte Wohnbereich der früheren Herrscher von Sharjah. Unweit davon erzählt ein rekonstruiertes Handelshaus vom Leben der damaligen Oberschicht.
