In 1955 Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum built a traditional summer house not far from the mosque, where he spent the hot afternoons and occasionally received guests and petitioners.
Unweit der Moschee ließ sich Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum 1955 ein traditionelles Sommerhäuschen errichten, in dem er bei großer Hitze die Nachmittage verbrachte und gelegentlich auch Gäste und bittstellende Untertanen empfing.
