At the backside of the palace the so-called Treasure of Ur was found by French archaeologists. It contained 4.500 year old figures made of gold and ivory. An der Rückseite des Palastes fanden französische Archäologen den so genannten Schatz von Ur, 4.500 Jahre alte Figuren aus Gold und Elfenbein.
