Propylaea#

Next to it a monumental stone staircase leads to the Propylaea, the entrance halls to the central temple district. Emperor Augustus started the construction of the enormous structure at the turning point in history.
Daneben führt eine monumentale Steintreppe zu den Propyläen, den Eingangshallen zum zentralen Tempelbezirk. Mit der Errichtung der gewaltigen Anlage begann Kaiser Augustus um die Zeitenwende.
